Doctrinal Statement

I believe in and preach the historic doctrines of the Christian faith:

The Bible is the Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit and inerrant in the original autographs.
(Ps 119: 142, 151, 160; Jn 17:17; 2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 2:21)

The God of the Bible eternally exists as one God in 3 Co-Equal Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each of whom is God. (Gen 1:1; Ps 90:2; Jn 1:1-3; 20:28; Acts 5:3-4; Heb 11:6)

The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and Man in One Person forever. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary atonement for the sins of all people, arose bodily from the dead, ascended to Heaven and intercedes for us at the right hand of God. (Is 53:6; Mt 1:21-23; Lk 24:51; Jn 1:1, 14, 18; Rom 8:34; 1 Cor 15:3-4; 2 Cor 5:21; 1 Pet 2:21-24)

Salvation, which includes the forgiveness of sins and eternal life, is the free gift of God, not by works, through faith alone in Jesus Christ and His blood atonement on the Cross. (Jn 3:16; 5:24; Rom 3:23-24; Eph 2:8-9; Titus 2:14; Heb 10:10, 12, 14, 17; Rev 5:8-9)

The Church is the Body of Christ, of which He is the Head, and is composed of all regenerated persons from Pentecost to the coming of Christ. All true believers in Christ are united together and to Christ by baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:42; 1 Cor 12:12-13; Eph 1:22-23; 2:21-22; Col 1:18)

Christ’s Second Coming will be personal, visible, bodily and imminent. There will be a final judgment of people before God. (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Cor 15:51-52; 1 Thess 4:16-17; Rev 19:11-16; 20:11-12)
